Monday September 6th: CLOSED LABOR DAY - unless we are expecting steady rain in Manchester we will be closed on Labor Day. Enjoy the holiday!
Friday September 10th: 10am-11am - APPLE PRINTING Join us in welcoming the fall by trying some apple printing with our staff. Included in admission.
Tuesday September 21st: 10am - MUSIC & MOVEMENT CLASS PREVIEW with Diane Kordas. Diane will perform a 20 minute preview of her Music & Movement Class to be held on Tuesdays at 9:30am or 10:30am. This preview will give you a taste of the talents and enthusiasm of this wonderful teacher. Included in museum admission and appropriate for children of all ages! www.romperrhythm.com
Friday September 24th: 10am-10:30am - WILDLIFE ENCOUNTER! Join us in welcoming back Granite State Zoo (formerly Wildlife Encounters Zoo). They will be presenting their Junior Zookeeper Program which will have 7 different species. You can visit them on the web at: http://www.wildlifeencounterszoo.com/ Admission to the show is $12/child, adults and infants under the age of 1 are free. Includes museum admission. Please note: children will be allowed to touch some of the animals, but in order to keep all children and the animals safe, NO FOOD IS ALLOWED during the show. this includes drinks and snacks. We appreciate your understanding. We ask that all guests refrain from eating anywhere in the museum during the show.

Saturday October 2nd: CLOSING AT 4PM
Saturday October 9th: 4pm-4:30pm - Diane Kordas from Romper Rhythm returns to perform her puppet shows: The Gingerbread Man & The Hungry Caterpillar, if you missed this last spring - these are both fabulous shows! Diane's professional puppet theatre is assembled on our stage for the show. These shows are engaging and entertaining for the whole family! www.romperrhythm.com
Note: Museum exhibits are closed during the show and re-opened after the performance. We appreciate parents' help in respecting the performance and aiding us in enforcing this policy. Families playing in the exhibits will be asked to be seated for the performance. Included in regular full-priced museum admission. (coupons & discounts not applicable)
Friday October 29th: 10am-11am Halloween Party! Come dressed in your favorite costume. Events to include: craft, press-on tattoos, decorate your own treats. Included in full-priced admission. (coupons & discounts not applicable)
NOVEMBER HAPPENINGS:
November 1st-19th: Donate one of the items listed below to be included in our Thanksgiving Baskets. Baskets will be given to local families with a loved one suffering from kidney failure. Kaleidoscope is working in conjunction with a The NH Kidney Center to provide well-stocked Thanksgiving Baskets to families this holiday season. We are collecting:
- canned or jar vegetables
- bread/muffin mixes (pillsbury corn bread, cranberry bread etc)
- cranberry sauce
- canned turkey gravy
- instant mashed potatoes
Bring in a donation during your visit and receive $1 off admission to the museum to play on that day. Baskets will be assembled on Friday November 19th and delivered that week.
